Last weekend we--mother and all of us girls--had the privilege of going to a mother-daughter conference only about 15 minutes away. The speaker was a wonderful lady whom I have admired and enjoy reading her books. 

Her name is Leslie Ludy. She was so very inspiring.

Me and brother decided to go outside and take pictures the other day.
I had my 50mm 1.8 lens and a 10+ marco filter on my camera most of the time;
he had my little point and shoot.

a day of "firsts"

The first day of the winter semester of our home school co-op.

It was wonderful to see everyone again. (:

First time wearing this skirt...absolutely love it and can't wait to wear it more!

I used rags to curl my hair--first time.
This was over 24 hours after I took them out.

I love Thursdays!

dear harrison

Harrison looks so adorable when he talks on the phone.

He sounds like a little man. (:

Dear Harrison,

When you put those arms around my neck and tell me

"I love you too", I nearly burst.

The other night you came over to my room at 2 am because you needed to go potty.

I cuddled with you till you went back to sleep.

Even though my rest was interrupted , it's ok.

In a few short years you'll be all growed up.

You make me laugh and smile a LOT!

I love that you love to cuddle.

We should dance more like we used to when you were a baby.

You still love to be rubbed with lotion after a bath.

Some of the questions you ask make me smile.

You love to know "why?"

Your my favorite blue-eyed little boy.
